Rash Behari Bose was born in 1886 in West Bengal. Early in his life, he became involved in revolutionary activities against British rule, joining secret societies dedicated to armed struggle. His leadership skills quickly distinguished him among freedom fighters.
In 1912, he was a key figure in the Delhi Conspiracy Case, which aimed at assassinating British officials. Following the crackdown by British authorities, he escaped to Japan, where he continued to organize Indian revolutionaries abroad and foster international support for India’s independence.
Bose also played a pivotal role in mentoring and assisting Subhas Chandra Bose in establishing the Indian National Army in Japan. He dedicated his life to India’s freedom struggle and passed away in 1945, leaving a legacy of courage, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the cause of independence.
