Biography:

Prafulla Chaki was born in 1888 in present-day West Bengal. Inspired by nationalist leaders and the struggle for independence, he joined the Jugantar revolutionary group, which was committed to direct action against British authorities.

He is best known for his association with Khudiram Bose in the attempt to assassinate Magistrate Kingsford in Muzaffarpur. While Khudiram was arrested and later executed, Chaki took his own life to avoid capture by the British police in 1908.

Though his life was tragically short, Prafulla Chaki became a symbol of youthful courage and dedication. His sacrifice, alongside fellow revolutionaries, inspired generations of Indians to continue the struggle for freedom.
